Review: NET-A-PORTER
This site has managed to bring a true luxury shopping experience to the internet.
Since its inception, the focus has been on creating a special online environment for its customers by focusing on details such as including notes about size and fit with each garment shipped along with exact measurements of sleeve and hem lengths.
The site even pioneered instant gratification by allowing its customers to buy certain brands straight from the runway last year. Right now, as retail experiences its worst crisis ever, the site seems more relevant than ever by doing what buyers keep saying is the only way to entice consumers to shop which is to offer them something unique and timeless.
Natalie Massenet, its founder, had quickly grasped the importance of the internet when she started NET-A-PORTER and we hear that she is now launching an online outlet that will stock designer labels such as Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo and Stella McCartney at reduced price called outnet.
We’ll certainly take a look so stay tuned…
