By now many of you may be familiar with YOOX, the e-commerce site that was launched back in 2000 by former investment banker Federico Marchetti.

The site sells in 28 countries and is a great resource for designer items with a very broad price range.  The categories include Women, Men and Kids, as well as Vintage, Special Editions and Books.

While the original concept was to buy overstock or unsold past-seasons items from big name fashion houses such as Armani, Gucci, Dolce&Gabbana the site now also sells current season items (see the “special editions” tab where one can buy fashion from the runways of Madrid’s Fashion Week).

Lastly, the category “The New Yooxer” adds some fresh content with video interviews of various fashion and art experts.
